Music Gorilla: Independent Action Film Looking for Music

An indie action film is looking for music.  One of the lead characters is a jazz fan is is often seen “winding down” with a glass of wine and listening to original music similar to Wynton Marsalis and Dexter Gordon– maybe in the acid Jazz vein.  It could also be along the lines of Joshua Redman or Roy Hargrove.

1. One scene takes place after the death of a friend so it needs to be down, reflective and mournful
2. The other music cue needs to have trumpet to the fore (like Wynton Marsalis).  Both cues are background and not featured.
