US- Aquarius Records, San Francisco California

This mission district store specializes in non-mainstream music such as experimental, punk and eclectic international recordings.  You can really lose some time in this shop looking for some hidden gems.

UK- Carnival Records, Malvern Worcestershire

Carnival records is a place people go not just for the music, but they go to gain some knowledge from the owner Chris and his staff.  It’s a great place for free live music too.

Lombardy Italy- Dischi Carù

This villa has piles of CD’s and records everywhere.  They promote indie music and have free concerts in the courtyard.  Regardless of what you do or do not buy, you’ll feel like you got something out of the experience.
