The Association of Independent Music (AIM) is launching a new personal loans system that could help British indie labels and startups get their business of the ground.
AIM will become the first music industry organization to partner with the government’s Start Up Loans Scheme which has lent more than £76m to businesses in the UK so far. http://www.startuploans.co.uk/
They will be reviewing applications from people running independent music companies for personal loans up to £25k to be used for their business. An added benefit is multiple founders are able to each apply.
There is a community of more than 800 labels and AIM is providing networking events, training and mentors from within its community.
